I'm thrilled to announce that my newest sculpture and site-specific installation will be on display at the ultra-hype NOMAD exhibition, aka the Largest Contemporary Art Pop-Up in the U.S. This exceptional, non-commercial exhibition celebrates the talents of Southern California artists.

Much like two years ago, the exhibition returns to the same venue, Del Amo Crossing Building Complex in Torrance, CA, from Friday, October 27th to Sunday, October 29th, 2023. This year adoration of NOMAD is co-hosted with TRYST, one of the largest alternative art fairs dedicated to independent art initiatives. It promises to be an inspiring weekend filled with true artistic exploration.

When you visit NOMAD, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in hundreds of site-specific works, paintings, sculptures, and sound art performances. Among them, you'll find my installation, a composition of broken mirrors, found objects, and handcrafted elements. This piece is a part of my ongoing series, 'Temporary Monuments and Landmarks,' and I'm genuinely excited to share it with all of you.

I extend my heartfelt thanks to Max Presneill and Sue-Na Gay for inviting me to be part of the NOMAD Show once again. My gratitude also goes to the whole team at the Torrance Art Museum for their love and care for art and artists. It's a true honor to be involved.

As a gesture of giving back, I'm contributing one of my smaller pieces to TAMA’s ODYSSEY fundraiser. If you've ever felt that my artworks were beyond reach, this is your chance to acquire one. Torrance Art Museum Advocates will showcase generously donated artworks by emerging, mid-career, and established contemporary artists, each available for just $100. Every dollar raised directly supports the Torrance Art Museum and its diverse programming.

I can't wait to share this artistic experience with all of you. You'll find my installation 'Temporary Monuments and Landmarks' on the 5th floor, near window 9 (check the map for details). While I'll aim to be close to my installation, I'll also be exploring NOMAD and TRYST as a visitor on my own. Don't hesitate to say hi; let's connect, and celebrate creativity.

See you there!
