Painting the Murals / Community Engagement Workshop

May 7, 2022

I am so happy with this project. Last Saturday we had community-engaged workshop, where the general public and neighborhood around Skytower Park in Lancaster participated in painting two murals I designated for them. Huge thanks to @moahlancaster @aaw_artistsatwork @art_in_residence and @cityoflancasterca . The murals span the north and south edges of a park totaling 300 feet in length, featuring a daytime and nighttime theme with local wildlife and will be completed for the park’s reopening in the coming weeks. #publicart #mural #muralart #workinprogress #cityoflancasterca #communityengagedart #muralslancasterca #artinthepark #muralproject #artistsatwork #moahlancaster #vojislavradovanovic #antelopevalley #skytowerpark #skytowerparkmurals #lancastermurals

Making Collages / Community Engagement Workshop

March 12, 2022

I had so much fun on this workshop, so many neighbors join us yesterday for creating collages and drawings, we had amazing time. This workshop is the part of the bigger development process for the future two murals, 300 feet long in total, that will be painted in Skytower park here in Lancaster, CA. The workshop is held to gather community input about their wishes and hopes, which will then be incorporated into the final design of the mural. I wanna thank to amazing staff I am working with, MoAH, AiR, AAW and City of Lancaster, CA.

Meeting at Skytower Park, Lancaster, CA

March 7, 2022

I am looking forward to this Saturday from 10am-2pm, when I will be moderating the first creative art workshop at SkyTower Park in Lancaster. It is part of the development process for the future 300 feet long murals that will be located there. The workshop is held to gather community input about their wishes and hopes, which will then be incorporated into the final design of the mural. I am excited this project is part of my journey as the Artist At Work (AAW) in partnership with MOAH (Museum of Art & History) and AIR (Art in Residence). We distributed hundreds of flyers on neighborhood doors and look forward to what the community co-creates with us!
