I am delighted to invite you to my upcoming solo exhibition, Fables from the Valley in Between, presented as part of METAPHOR at the Museum of Art and History in Lancaster.
This exhibition gathers a new body of work rooted in the landscape of the Antelope Valley. Over the past several years, I have been developing an ongoing site-specific project in the remains of an old school building with a collapsed roof, an open-air structure that has become an unexpected stage. In this space, I have created temporary installations, informal outdoor exhibitions, and performances for the camera, often in collaboration with other artists. As part of upcoming exhibition, in a MOAH's South Galley, I will be showing my new paintings (mostly works never shown before), sculptures, installations and a new experimental film "Fables from the Valley in Between".
As part of the broader METAPHOR exhibition, visitors will also have the opportunity to see solo presentations by Nathan Huff, Sharon Kagan, Bachrun LoMele, Francis Robateau, Brian Singer, and Diane Williams. I am honored to be showing alongside this group of artists.
I would be pleased to share this world with you at the opening reception on January 31 from 2 to 4 PM. If you are unable to attend, the exhibition will remain on view through April 19, 2026.
I look forward to welcoming you at MOAH.
